Hi I am Anna Skeer and I live on the picturesque slopes of Pihanga overlooking Turangi. I chose to move here permanently six years ago to raise our family after having worked in tourism around the world. Here I found the people friendly and welcoming and loved the lifestyle of Turangi with easy access to the Ruapehu Ski areas, Tongariro National Park and Southern Lake Taupo. When I’m not in work mode I love to go skiing at Whakapapa with my family during the Winter, and in Summer I relish the opportunity to go horse riding taking in the spectacular views over the lake.
